Hawaii Chapter CPCU Mission Statement

The Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters(CPCU)Society is a professional organization whose members have all earned the CPCU designation.

This achievement, requires extensive study and completion of a rigorous series of 8 naitional examinations, insuranance industry experience and dedicaton to a strict code of professional ethics.

Chaptered in 1961, we have members on Oahu and the neighbor islands.

The CPCU Society is dedicated to providing excellance in education, information and research, as well as maintaining high ethical and professional standards.

Our local chapter has a strong commitment to continuing education among our membership and extending into the community. The Hawaii Chapter sponsors insurance classes and maintains a speakers bureau. We also provide brochures on consumer topics ranging from hurricane preparedness to purchasing insurance coverage.

In addition, our Chapter participates in community projects such as the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, the Hawaii Food Bank, and Toys for Tots.
